Lotto Individual Polish Chess Championship for Men and Budimex Individual Polish Chess Championship for Women started in Poznań/Poland. The Championships take place from 29th March to 7th April, 2016 in the main building of the University of Economics in Poznań.
Both Championships are played as 9-round Round Robins with the time control 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game + 30 seconds increment per move.
