European Online Chess Championship for players rated 1700-2000 (group B) concluded on Saturday 23th May. Around 1000 players took participation in the event which was played through chess.com platform.
250 players qualified for the Finals which were played on 24th May through chess.com and Zoom meeting.
After the fair play policy review, the prize list for the group B is published. Top three winners are: Pavel Sebastian-Ion (ROU, 1996), Mehtiyev Elnur (AZE, 1968) and Davtyan Artur (ARM, 1854).
Top 3 players and top 3 women players will be awarded with ECU medals, top 2 players will be awarded with free participation in European Amateur Chess Championship 2021, two players, the best ranked boy U14 and girl U14 will be awarded with free participation in European Youth Chess Championship 2020 or 2021, 12 players of three categories (women, U1850 and top 7) will be awarded with Diamond Chess.com membership.
25 players will be awarded with simultaneous exhibition with GM Anish Giri. Dates of the simul will be published later.

Ten players, 7th-15th place and 4th and 5th Women, will be awarded with ESET Internet Security Licence.
