After six played rounds at European Club Cup 2019 in Ulcinj, Montenegro, Obiettivo Risarcimento Padova (ITA) and Nona (GEO) emerged as the sole leaders in Open and Women’s section, respectively.
After defeating Vugar Gashimov (AZE) in the round 5, team of Obiettivo Risarcimento Padova remained as the only team with perfect score and all 5 victories. In the round 6, Italian team made a convincing 4-2 victory against Mednyi Vsadnik (RUS) when Leko Peter (2666) defeated Alekseenko Kirill (2715) and Jones Gawain (2663) beat Rodshtein Maxim (2653), while all other games ended in a draw.
In the last 7th round of the event, Obiettivo Risarcimento Padova meets with top seed Alkaloid, which, together with AVE Novy Bor (CZE), Moscow Chess Team (RUS) and Primorsky District (RUS) follow the sole leader with 10 match points, each.

Team of Nona from Georgia made a decisive victory in the 6th round against Kyiv Chess Federation (UKR) to overtake the leadership and became the sole leader one round before the end of the competition.
With two draws on the first two boards and victories of Batsiashvili Nino (2422) and Khotenashvili Bela (2446) against Abdumalik Zhansaya (2472) and Osmak Iulija (2401), Nona took a victory with final result 3-1 and scored 10 match points to be ahead of the runner-ups for 2 match points.
Kyiv Chess Federation (UKR), Cercle d’Echecs Monte Carlo (MNC) and Ugra (RUS) are in a tie for the second place, each with 8 match points.
In the final round, Nona meets with SPB Chess and Draughts Sport School, and a draw will be enough for Georgian team to become European Club Cup Champion!
