GM Radoslaw Wojtaszek (POL 2722) defeated GM Constantin Lupulescu (ROU 2620) on the first board with Black pieces, while GM Maxim Matlakov (RUS 2693) defeated Benjamin Bok (NED 2614) with White.
GMs Ernesto Inarkiev (RUS 2686), Zaven Andriasian (ARM 2602) and Baadur Jobava (GEO 2661) also scored their third victory against Denis Khismatullin (RUS 2609), Alexey Dreev (RUS 2662) and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan (ARM 2601) respectively.
GM Alexander Ipatov (TUR 2648), GM Daniil Dubov (RUS 2644), GM Mircea-Emilian Parligras (ROU 2599) and GM Zurab Sturua (GEO 2548) joined the leaders with 3/3 by winning their games with White pieces.
