European Senior Team Chess Championship 2023 – Round 6 report

Six rounds have been already played at the European Senior Team Chess Championship 2023 in Swidnica, Poland, with only three rounds to go before the announcement of the winners.

The team of Slovakia 65+ emerged as the sole leader in the 65+ section scoring all victories and perfect 12 match points. England 65+ follows with 10 match points, while three teams tie for the third place with 8 match points each: Hungary, Germany SC Kreuzberg e.V. and Polish Lower Silesia 1.

Slovakia and England 2 tie for the top of the 50+ category with 12 match points each, and the direct encounter between the leading teams is scheduled for the last round of the event. England 2 is currently third with 10 match points.
