European Online Amateur Chess Championship 2021 for players rated 1401-1700 took place on 17th and 18th April through Tornelo Online platform.
More than 300 players from 45 European federations participated in the Qualification event and the top 200 players proceeded to the Finals.
After 9 played rounds in the Final B group, six players tied for the top, scoring 7.5 points, each. Tiebreak criteria decided that Erarslan Okan (TUR) claims the title of European Online Amateur Chess Champion of group B!
The best-ranked female player was Tsakona Maria (GRE) with 6 points and 29th place in the overall standings. Gkoutzouki Aikaterini Argyro (GRE) was the second ranked female player with 5.5 points and Ozsoy Idil Mira (TUR) took third place, with the same score but lower tiebreak criteria.

Top 114 players from the final rankings qualified for the group C (for players rated 1701-2000) which will be played from 24th-25th April.
