ECU Educational Commission releases a project “Chess in Education Portal”. The project has been developed since 2021 with the support of the FIDE Development fund.
The “Chess in Education Portal” is a guide to creating chess projects. Whether you are organizing a federation, chess club, chess-themed event, a competitive tournament or a school program, it takes considerable effort to ensure that a chess project is successful. To inspire you with what is possible, we have brought together a guide and descriptions of some chess projects in recent years which have made an impact.
The Chess in Education portal contains a library of successful chess projects from Europe, with an underline to the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union which has funded several international chess projects. The portal provides guidance on applying for Erasmus+ funding and outlines how to organize a fundraising event.
