After three played rounds at the European Individual Chess Championship 2024, 10 players emerged on the top scoring maximum 3/3 points.
The early co-leaders are GM Bogdan-Daniel Deac (ROU, 2687), GM Matthias Bluebaum (GER, 2654), GM Frederik Svane (GER, 2654), GM Ivan Cheparinov (BUL, 2632), GM Robert Hovhannisyan (ARM, 2613), GM Nikolas Theodorou (GRE, 2612), GM Daniel Dardha (BEL, 2606), GM Maksim Chigaev (ESP, 2605), GM Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus (TUR, 2604) and GM Yahli Sokolovsky (ISR, 2516), followed by a group of 49 players scoring 2.5 points.
The matches are becoming tougher and tougher, and the stakes are getting higher as the competitors fight for the title of the European Chess Champion and 20 qualification spots for the FIDE World Chess Cup 2025.
The fourth round starts at 15:00 CET and the top board pairings are:
