European Women’s Chess Trophy 2025 – Winners

ECU Commission For Women’s Chess announced three years ago “European Women’s Chess Trophy”, an initiative that aimed to financially reward women and girls who actively take part in the solely women’s tournaments in Europe. The project is supported by the FIDE Development Fund.

It was great to see the growing number of female tournaments in Europe last year, as well as number of female players that had been considered for this trophy. The Winners were announced after calculation of points awarded according to placement of a player in tournaments listed in the regulations/criteria for the project.

The Winners are announced for the following four categories: Juniors U20, Rating U2200, Rating 2201-2400, and Rating 2400+. Congratulations to the Winners!

The Winners of the Category Juniors U20 are:

  1. Mariia Manko (Switzerland)
  2. Eline Roebers (Netherlands)
  3. Nadya Toncheva (Bulgaria)

The Winners of the Category Rating U2000 are:

  1. Anastasia Kirtadze (Georgia)
  2. Gundula Heinatz (Switzerland)
  3. Jovana Srdanovic (Serbia)

The Winners of the Category Rating 2201-2400 are:

  1. Irina Bulmaga (Romania)
  2. Andrea-Cristina Navrotescu (France)
  3. Evgeniya Doluhanova (Ukraine)

The Winners of the Category 2400+ are:

  1. Stavroula Tsolakidou (Greece)
  2. Teodora Injac (Serbia)
  3. Mai Narva (Estonia)
