With the last stage of the European Online Amateur Chess Championship 2021 for players rated 2001-2300 (group D) the European Online Amateur Chess Championship 2021 concluded and the Winners have been decided.
The last stage of the event – group D – was played on 28th of April with participation of 240 players, coming from 38 European federations.
After 9 played rounds, the Winner and European Online Amateur Chess Champion of group D became Patrelakis Evaggelos (GRE, 2281) with a perfect 9/9 score!
Second place came to Makridis Dimitrios (GRE, 2226) with 8 points, while 7 players tied for the third place, scoring 7.5 points each, but tiebreak criteria decided that bronze e-medal goes to Cofmann Veaceslav (GER, 2283).
The best ranked Women player became WIM Shpanko Nadiia (UKR, 2203) scoring 6.5 points with 21st place in overall standings. Three women players tied for second place in this special category, with score of 6 points each, but tiebreak criteria decided that silver e-medal goes to WIM Jakubowska Anna (POL, 2073), bronze medal to WIM Navrotescu Andreea-Cristiana (FRA, 2247) while WFM Sinitsina Anastassia (EST, 2127) was fourth.
