ECU Online Teachers Seminars

Within ECU Online activities in the period April-May 2020, European Chess Union organizes “ECU101 Training Seminar: The SMART Method to Teach Chess” in period from 15th April – 24th May. The seminars are supported by FIDE development fund.

“ECU101 TRAINING COURSE: The SMART Method to Teach Chess” will cover the basic didactic principles and is suitable for teachers and chess tutors. By completing the course, participants who pass the online test will receive a ECU School Chess Teacher Certificate.

Courses will be held in 4 different languages: English, Italian, German, and Spanish and the schedule is as following:

  • 15-17 April In ITALIAN
    – with Alessandro Dominici and Jesper Hall with Paulesu, PierLuigi Piscopo and Lexi Ortega
    – By invitation from Alfiere Bianco
    – Recognised by the Italian Chess Federation
    – Special course price during Covid period

  • 16-18 April In GERMAN

    – For Hamburg Chess Federation

    – with Jesper Hall

  • 23-24 May In ENGLISH
    – with Jesper Hall Free entry and title fee (30 seats) for Female participants and Entrants from Small Nations and Islands*

    – with Pep Suárez
    – First 5 women free.
