ECU ARBITERS’ REFRESHMENT COURSE IN MINSK

The ECU announces the Refreshment Course for Arbiters, which will take place in Minsk/Belarus, 6-8 June 2017.

The course will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the “Commentary room” at the playing hall of the European Individual Chess Championship.

The lectures will be held in English language, with translation to Russian language.

Lecturer of the course will be IA Tomasz Delega from Poland, ECU Arbiters’ Council Secretary and FIDE Rules Commission Secretary.

The ECU Refreshment Course is an advanced course for titled arbiters. The idea is to organize face-to-face meeting and remind the participants about the current ECU and FIDE rules, and also to introduce the new FIDE Laws of Chess 2017.

One of the topics which will be discussed at the course is the Anti-cheating Guidelines, one of the most difficult subjects for the arbiters.
