The 8th edition of the European Small Nations Teams Chess Championship 2023 took place from 29 October to 4 November in Pomme d’Or Hotel, St Helier, Jersey.
The team of Andorra emerged as the sole Winner of the event with the score of 17 match points. With eight victories and one drawn match, Andorra was two match points ahead of the runner-ups: Faroe Islands and Luxembourg who tied for silver with the score of 15 match points, each.
Having a higher number of board points, Faroe Islands claimed silver medal and Luxembourg won bronze.

The ESNA meeting was held concurrently with the tournament, on Friday, 3rd of November, deciding the venues for the European Small Nations Individual Chess Championship 2024 – Andorra, and the European Small Nations Team Chess Championship 2025 – Cyprus.
The 8th European Small Nations Team Chess Championship was played in 9 rounds, round-robin system, with the participation of the following teams: Andorra, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Guernsey, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco and San Marino. Each team consisted of four players and one reserve player.
The main supporter of the event was the European Chess Union which annually supports the major events of the European Small Nations.
