R4 REPORT: EUROPEAN YOUTH TEAM CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2019
Four rounds have been already played at European Youth Team Chess Championship 2019 in Pardubice, Czech Republic.
In open and girls categories for the age U12, two teams emerged as the sole leaders, while several teams tie for the first place in sections U18. In category Open U12, team of Hungary is on the top with 7 match points, while Poland and France tie for the second place, each with 6 match points.
In girls U12 section, Poland is the sole leader with 7 match points, ECU- Pleven is on the current second place with score of 6 match points, while teams of Yamal and Turkey tie for the third place, each with 5 match points.
There is no emerged sole leader of Open U18 section. Four teams are in a tie for the first place, each with score of 6 match points: Austria, Israel 1, Serbia and Germany. Round 5 brings the clash of the leaders Israel 1- Germany, while teams Austria and Serbia will play against runner-ups: Netherlands and Belarus.
Teams of ECU-Pleven and Germany are leading in the section Girls U18, each with score of 7 match points, three victories and one drawn match. They are followed by Slovakia, scoring 6 match points.
